Just One A Day is not open yet. Where this page describes it, it describes how it will work when it opens.
If you want one partner, and you want them to want only you, this page is for you. It says how Just One A Day works for somebody looking for that, and what it will not do.
You are only shown people who want what you want
When you join, you say what you are looking for, including whether you want somebody monogamous. Choose only monogamous and nobody else is ever shown to you.
It works both ways. You are only shown somebody if they fit what you asked for and you fit what they asked for.
We never widen what you asked for. If nobody matches, the app says so, and the number it shows you is zero.
One person a day
You are shown one person a day. There is no list, no grid and no second page. You can write to them, ignore them or dismiss them. There is no like button.
Nobody is shown to more than 5 people a night, so a few people do not take up everybody’s day.
Just One A Day is open to everyone, and that does not change who you see
People who are not monogamous use Just One A Day too. Everybody is in the same pool, and everybody pays the same.
What you see is still decided by what you asked for. If you asked for somebody monogamous, that is who you are shown, every day.
Why you are here is nobody’s business
When you join you also say whether you are serious about meeting up or just looking. Nobody else ever sees it, nobody can filter on it, and you can change it whenever you like without anybody being told.
Everybody proves who they are
Every member does an identity document check and a face check, and confirms a mobile number, before anybody is shown their profile. There is no way round it.
Your document is destroyed within 24 hours of the check.
What it costs
£10 per person per month, month to month. No annual plan, no discounts, and nothing else to buy. Nobody can pay to be seen first.
What you will not like
- On the first day there may be nobody for you. Just One A Day is new, and it only shows you people who match exactly what you asked for. If that is nobody, it says so.
- There is nothing to browse. If you enjoy scrolling through people, you will not like it.
- You get one person a day whether or not they suit you. Some days it will be somebody you would have passed in a second.
