Just One A Day is a UK dating platform. It is open to everyone — single or partnered, any gender, any orientation, monogamous or not.
We slow things down so people can take the time to connect. How it works says what Just One A Day is for, and what it is not.
How it works
Four things happen. Nothing else does.
Just One A Day does as little as possible on purpose. There is no learned algorithm and no engagement loop. You cannot accumulate likes or profiles.

Set your filters
Age, distance, and what you are actually looking for. If it’s not in your filters, we don’t show it. We never quietly widen them to fill your queue.

Read one profile
One person, once a day, at the same time. No score, no percentage, no like button. You either want to meet them or you do not.

Chat and explore
This is your day together — if you choose. Chat, flirt, get to know the other person. Or not. It is entirely your choice, and we make it easy to prevent or stop engagement at any stage.

Confirm a date
If the spark is there, you can arrange to meet. Afterwards we ask you one question: did the date happen? If both say yes we record that as a confirmed date and count it in our headline number.
Transparency
We show members the numbers, including the ones that make us look bad.
Inside the app, members are shown how the platform is actually performing — including the measures that make us look bad. You can tell what your evenings are likely to look like before you spend any of them.
Those numbers are for members. They are inside the app, and they are not on this website.
Pricing
£10 a month. That is the whole price list.
Membership
£10 per person, per month
No free tier, no boosts and no paying to be seen first. Everyone on Just One A Day pays the same, so everyone is equally visible.
Per person, never per profile. Link your accounts with a partner and you pay £10 each, because that is two people.
There are no super-likes, no annual plan and no discount for anybody.
Month to month. You pay for the month you are in, and you can stop any month.
The simplest pricing on the market
Everyone gets the first month free. And we charge less than half of the big platforms. And we don’t lock you into long contracts. And there’s one flat price for everything. That’s a lot of ands.
Safety and trust
What we do, and what we cannot do
No platform can make meeting a stranger safe, and one that says it can is selling you something. Here is what we actually do.

Everybody proves who they are
An identity document and a check that your face matches it, before anybody sees you.

Every rule is published
What limits you, what we will suspend an account for, and how to appeal it. All of it is written down before you join, not after.

We don’t track your activity across the web
We only use your data for the purposes we have stated. We don’t track you across the web, build a marketing profile of you and we certainly don’t sell your information to anyone.

Leaving is easy
You can stop paying in a few taps and take your data with you. Deleting means deleting.
Joining
Signup is not open yet
You cannot join today, and nothing on this page signs you up. When it opens, this page will say so.
Ask us to tell you when it opens
Leave your email address and we will email you once, on the day signup opens. That is the only thing the waiting list is ever used for. There is an optional box below if you would also like the blog.
There is no queue and no order. Nobody is ahead of you and nobody is behind you, so leaving your address early buys you nothing except being told. We ask for an email address and nothing else — no name, no age, nothing about what you are looking for — and no account is created.
There is a walkthrough
You can walk through the whole product before signing up to anything. It is a preview rather than the product itself — the styling is a placeholder and many buttons do not do anything yet. It takes about ten minutes, and it asks for your email address before it starts.
To come off the list, write to hello@justoneaday.app and we will delete your address — delete it, not mark it. We keep your address until signup opens, send that one email, and then delete the whole list. The waiting list never becomes a mailing list. If you ticked the blog box, that address sits on a separate list with its own way to leave, and the two are never joined.
