The policies, and what each one is for

Most of our policies are still being written. The ones that are ready are below; the rest appear here on the day each one is published.

This page is a list and nothing more. It does not say what any policy says — a rule written out in two places is two rules, and sooner or later they disagree.

A policy appears on this page on the day it is published, and goes from it if it is ever taken down. Nobody edits this page to make either of those happen.

Each entry is a link to the policy itself, with one line saying what it is for. Every link opens in a new tab, so you keep your place here and can come back to it.

  What this website holds about somebody who visits it: the web server's access log, an email address if you ask to be told when signup opens, and one cookie if you press the light and dark switch.
